Ticketed Parking System

Ticketed parking system – paid parking system is among the most important technological products for parking lots. These systems are a type of pricing automation used in paid parking lots. The purpose is to calculate parking lot entry and exit times and collect fees accurately from entering vehicles. The system offers multiple benefits together.

If a pricing system is to be established in a parking lot, the ticket parking system is the first of these systems. What we call a ticket is actually a general concept and it can be in the form of an electromagnetic card or a receipt printout. In cases where the ticket dispensing machine runs out of tickets, you can see this on your computer. The system gives you advance warning.

One of the most important features of these systems is that they have the ability to work online with a computer. It includes a maintenance-free industrial thermal printer. If there are no tickets left in the ticket dispensing machine and the user cannot buy a ticket, the barrier will not be opened and the user will not be allowed to enter. You can already intervene in this situation by noticing it on your computer beforehand.

Where is the Ticketed Parking System Used?

Although ticketed parking systems seem to be identified with car parks, they can also be used in different areas. The ticketed parking system is frequently used in various parking areas today. These systems can be used in many areas such as airports, various business centers and parking lots. The system works extremely stably and is extremely easy to use.

There must be at least one payment point in these systems, which work with arm parking barriers positioned at the entrance and exit points of the car parks. The entering vehicle goes to the payment point at the exit with the ticket it has purchased and pays the parking fee.

A ticket issuing machine is positioned at the parking lot entrance. The person who wants to enter can easily buy his ticket through this machine. After the fee is collected, the exit ticket is given to the ticket swallowing machine located at the parking lot exit. The automatic barrier opens and thus exit is made.

Parking Ticket System with Payment at Exit

Fee tariffs of car parks that collect fees generally differ from each other. After entering the car park after purchasing a ticket, the tariff is calculated for the time spent inside. When exiting, he can easily pay the fee by giving the ticket he bought from the machine to the payment point and exit the car park.Biletli otopark sistemi bilet tiplerine göre çeşitlenmektedir. Kullanılan çeşitler aşağıdaki gibidir:

1- Electronic ticket (em) systems

2- Cardboard ticket systems

3- Thermal paper systems

You can find the features of these systems and their advantages, disadvantages and differences compared to each other in the rest of our article.

Paid Parking System with Ticket

Paid parking system, as the name suggests, is to charge vehicles entering the parking lot in accordance with a certain tariff. The person operating the car park can set hourly, two-hour, three-hour or daily tariffs. Or it can provide various advantages to people entering the parking lot with a subscription system. Our company provides hardware and software support for paid parking systems.

Parking ticket dispensing machines and ticketed parking systems can be used in many different places. These machines can be used in airports, airport parking lots, municipal parking lots, private institutions, and many areas where the subscription system is actively used. In this way, other people will be prevented from entering the parking lot. Our company also provides services regarding paid parking license plate recognition systems.

Electronic Ticket Parking Systems

Electronic ticket parking systems have different features. What we call electronic tickets are contactless cards with a chip inside. These are divided into two in the market: proximity and mifare. Both can be used in ticketed parking systems.Biletli Otopark Sistemi

Electronic tickets are placed vertically on the rail-type structure we call the magazine, located inside the ticket booth. The critical point here is the capacity. Standard electronic ticket machines have a capacity of 180 cards. This capacity can be increased to a maximum of 500 units with the additional magazine apparatus. In this system, information appears on the operator screen when the last 5 or 10 cards remain in the machine. For example, “Please load the ticket into the ticket machine at entrance gate A”.

In the ticketed parking system, the main situation is that the capacity of the ticket dispensing machine is the critical point. If the parking lot has a capacity of 300 / 500 vehicles, it can be used by filling the machines several times a day and it does not cause any problems. However, if the parking lot has a capacity of 5000 / 10,000 vehicles, it is opened every half hour or 10 minutes. A ticket must be filled in, and this process can tire the operator.

Ticket Issuing Machine

The ticket issuing machine works user and business oriented. The biggest benefit of the system is to keep vehicle entries and exits under control and to collect fees more easily. The advantage of the card system in the field of ticketed parking system is that the cards used can be used continuously. A received card is paid at the exit point and the paid card is collected by the officer at the exit point. The collected cards continue to be used by placing them back in the cabin whose ticket has expired, and this cycle continues until the cards become too worn out to be used anymore.

Electronic ticket machines also have a subscriber reader. Cards defined as subscribers in the system are scanned by the card reader on the ticket dispensing machine. Since these cards are carried on the user, issuing and swallowing tickets is not possible for these subscriber cards.

There is a loop sensor in the system, which we call vehicle detection sensor. The loop sensor detects the vehicle and card giving/swallowing/subscriber card reading operations are performed. If there is no vehicle in front of the cabin, the system understands that someone is coming on foot and does not issue a card when the button of the ticket booth at the entrance point is pressed. If there is no vehicle at the exit point, it does not take the card inserted into it, and the subscriber reader does not read the cards. The reason it works this way is for security purposes.

Paper Ticket Parking System

These are machines that issue cardboard tickets and are used in ticketed parking systems. 5,000 continuous form tickets of z type in a row of 3 can be placed inside. The system has a thermal printer and does not require equipment such as cartridge toner.

A ticket issuing machine with a paper ticket is more costly in terms of consumables than one with an electronic ticket. The fee paid for each 5,000 cards is calculated over the year. However, this is the only option for parking lots with large capacity. Its disadvantage is its consumable cost and its advantage is its large capacity.

Likewise, subscriber cards can work in the same way in the cabin that has a subscriber reader. Vehicle detection sensors also have the same working principle and no action is taken when the vehicle is not present.

Thermal Paper Ticketed Parking Systems

Another product used in the ticketed parking system and paid parking system categories is thermal paper ticket systems. Basic paper ticket systems are partially similar to other systems. The difference is the printer part. The paper given is thin thermal paper of bill type and is placed in the cabin in roll type.

It has an average capacity of 300/500 tickets. Subscriber reader and vehicle detection sensors are the same as in the other systems above. In this system, if central payment is made, the barcode is scanned by the barcode reader on the machine instead of having the ticket accepted at the exit gate. At the payment point, the officer makes the payment by scanning the barcodes of the departing vehicles with a hand-held barcode reader.

Our organization provides the best possible service for these systems. By contacting our company, you can get price and installation information and access other details easily. If you need a general installation including the barrier, you can also take a look at our parking barrier page.
