RISING BOLLARD

RISING BOLLARD

mantar bariyer sistemi

Rising bollard systems are generally used as roadblocks and blockers for vehicles. Today, mushroom barriers, which are used in many areas, are used to prevent vehicles from entering areas such as areas closed to traffic, pedestrian road restrictions, places requiring private and high security, or to ensure that permitted vehicles can enter.

Rising bollards  are a type of product that works with hydraulic oil pressure and is buried underground. The product has many size options and can be produced upon request. Mushroom barriers, produced as standard 50 cm, can be extended up to 90 cm upon request.

Rising bollards should be selected according to the area and purpose in which they will be used. Since there will be differences both in terms of quality and industrial operation between a product that will be opened and closed 5 times a day and a product that will be opened and closed 500 times a day, it is very important to choose the right product for the right place.

Nowadays, our rising bollards, which we apply in projects both at home and abroad with our domestically produced products, all of TURKISH ORIGIN, stand out both in terms of quality and in terms of their foreign competitors.

HOW DOES RISING BOLLARD WORK?

Rising bollard are systems that work with the power applied by hydraulic oil pressure to hydraulic pistons. The system consists of a main control panel (PLC), a motor used to pump the oil, hydraulic pistons and the main steel cylindrical skeleton that forms the barrier.

With the command coming from the automation panel (open command), the engine starts to work and press the hydraulic oil into the pistons. The pistons open with the compressed hydraulic force and the rising bollard  cylinder makes the upward movement. The downward movement of the Rising bollard occurs with the withdrawal of the hydraulics and the reverse logic of the upward movement is downward. movement takes place.

The product, which can be operated manually, is made by manually pumping the oil with a lever arm. In case of emergency due to a power outage or a different problem, it can be moved up and down by manually pumping the lever arm.

HOW TO INSTALL RISING BOLLARD ?

First of all, before starting the assembly, the right product must be selected in the right dimensions. The height standard can be around 50/60 cm, but in places where very high security is required, the height can be increased up to 100 cm.

In terms of width, the positions of the gates used and the width of the road passage are important. The average rising bollard spacing is calculated as 1.5 meters.

On the application side, the area to be applied must be excavated with a work machine. Since the product is a boiler type product buried in the ground, the dimensions of the area to be excavated must be according to the dimensions of the product.

In order for the product to be used against water for many years without rotting, it is recommended to use either a submersible pump type pump or a drain structure connected to the water drain in the excavation area. If there is no water drain or there is no area where the excess water from the pump will be poured when using the pump, the lower ground part of the product is covered with gravel. For example, half a meter high gravel is filled on the ground and the product is placed on it. Thus, a ground is created for the rainwater to absorb the water of the soil at the bottom, but this method increases the possibility of the product to rot and is not recommended.

It is recommended to place red-green lights and informative traffic lights on the entrance and exit sides of the product.

At the same time, a loop detector, which we call a vehicle detector metal mass detector, or mutually visible photocells should be used on the front and back of the product.

If the product lifts up as soon as a vehicle approaches the rising bollard, it should be ensured that these sensors do not detect the vehicle in advance and initiate the lifting process, as it will damage the vehicle on top of it and lift the vehicle up.
